Exciting things in our Computer Science department are happening! A group of students have been working all summer long to develop a working prototype of a UM-Dearborn iphone app and droid app. I have been impressed with these 5 students who have invested countless hours in the research and development of this new technology. It has been exciting to observe their efforts.
Here is a preview of the main page of the iphone app prototype with icons that will give prospective and current students, faculty, staff and alumni instant access to University information and resources.
These students will be presenting their prototypes in a few weeks to University administrators and we hope to launch the iphone app in itunes soon.
