School this semester is like no other! Seriously, I have had more stress this semester with 9 credits, than I had when I once took 15 credits. Why? I truly do not know. However, it could be because of the other tedious events that are taking place in my life right now.
How about the fact that I spoke with my academic advisor, and I will need to take an English class over, GOSH! Unless they're reading Twilight or New Moon next semester, I highly doubt that I will be at all interested :-( I'm not particularly fond of "math", but I do have a love for crunching numbers. So another option for retake next semester is Precalculus. I've decided not to do it, not to add to the mound of stress that I will already be in.
On a lighter note, the hold on my account was removed so I was able to register on time! And I am officially a Senior! Yay me! Only about 33 credits left before I matriculate (after seeing Twilight yesterday, I can't help but to use "matriculate" as if it were a part of my everyday vocabulary lol)! I'm both excited, yet anxious because I am sooo ready for it to be over. BUT I LOVE SCHOOL. I am the epitome of a dork/nerd/bookworm! Whatever the modern term is, I'm sure I fit it well.
So here's my hot topic: I have been approached twice while working in the Mathematics Learning Center by students questioning me about the number of pages they've printed while a student at the University. Until recently, I had no idea what they were talking about, and to myself thought that they were pulling my leg. What I can say is that, yes, the University is now tracking your print jobs. I can also say that SOM allows each of its students to print 700 pages max, and I'm unsure as to how many CASL allows. What I absolutely can't answer is: if there is a limit on the number of pages allowed by CASL, how much will be charged to your tuition. I mean, seriously, you pick the Office Assistant in the Math Learning Center to ask a question like that? I DO NOT KNOW!
In conclusion, if you're looking for me, I'll be hiding out at home for the next few days reading Twilight! Is it weird that I saw the movie and was immediately drawn in to the book, instead of reading the series and anticipating the movie?
P.S. Thank goodness for Thanksgiving Break!
