HELLO STUDENTS, NEW AND OLD!!!
Welcome to the Fall 2009 semester. Hope you enjoyed your first day of classes...
I recently accepted an internship at HFCC (yay!), and of course it is full time. After work today I needed to run to the cashier's office, and saw the campus bustling with cars and new faces. I have to admit, that saddened me. It made me realize that I won't be interacting with people on campus as much as I used to. No more lunch breaks in the UC, no more visiting bake sales tables or flyering tables. My life now begins after 5:30p each day, except for Fridays which are pretty boring on campus anyway.
I have two 6:10-9p classes this semester, in the COB which puts me off campus anyway. I won't be able to attend any events like Global Fest, or the Student Org Fair or hear random artists play on the UC Stage. I'm really going to be missing out this year, and that upsets me!
I don't know what to do right now. This is definitely a bummer :-) Well, I hope you guys enjoy UMD as much as I do.
