Brrrrrr…. It is so cold outside. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a polar bear walking down the side of the street right now. I can't believe it was 16 below zero with the wind chill. When it becomes this cold, everyone needs to take safety precautions and prepare themselves accordingly. With the walks through the parking lot becoming more and more difficult, everyone should remember to dress for the weather. I kid you not that I have seen four people already walking through the parking lot with sandals on!! I am not sure if their mothers let them get away with that but we all should use some common sense. Frost Bite is not a joke but I guess some have to learn by experience, right?
Weather aside from the fact, everything at school is going well. I have really enjoyed my new professors so far and found them to be very interesting people. One of my professors teaches in Finland and another came from the Los Angeles Police Department. The variety of experience they bring to the table is inspiring. There has already been some assignments assigned but what should I expect? It is probably not a good idea to wait three weeks and then start on the workload. I have started one of my assignments and I’m diving into my reading like I said I would.
