Now that Spring Break is underway, I am doing some much needed relaxing. Although I am still keeping busy, I have not had to rush as much. On a normal school week, my entire day is scheduled out in half an hour increments and I am occupied every second. The change of pace is really nice and makes me look forward to graduating. I love school and all but with two jobs, two kids, and full time school it can be a bit stressful.
Spring Break started off on the right foot for sure. Since it was my birthday last week, my husband took me out to a comedy club. I had never gone to a comedy club before but it was even better than I had expected. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt for a good hour. Starting off the weekend with some good light hearted fun was perfect but of course I can not sit around and stare at the walls for a week.
Finally, I am doing everything that I said I would get to but never did like going for an eye exam, deep cleaning the house, and getting some new furniture. Yes, I said getting new furniture. I normally don't get a chance to sit down so what good is nice furniture. I realized it was so old and raggedy this week since I had a chance to sit down. The couch is so worn that a spring had ripped through three layers of material. Yeah, we had to toss it to the curb since it was so bad no one else would have wanted it but now I have a nice clean house with new couches and eyes to see it all with it. Ah...how wonderful!
